When is the best time to buy or sell a home in the Virgin Islands?
So many people in the U.S. are accustomed to having better and worse seasons for buying and selling, and that is true here—to a point. In the States, the best selling period is typically in the spring. Here in the Virgin Islands, we sell homes year-round, though we do get an influx of closings before the summer so that renters can get their properties ready and families can move down here before school starts in the fall.
In general, whenever you’re ready to enter the market, the market will be ready for you to jump in. However, given that the pandemic has caused the stock market to go crazy, I think that now is a great time to invest in real estate. Interest rates are also set to rise, so be sure to contact a Realtor to learn what your options are if you’re looking to make a move soon.
I’d love to be your real estate resource, so if you have any questions or need professional advice about buying or selling in the Virgin Islands, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email.
